I'm a bit confused on exactly what you need. You want 2 laptops on a wireless router and only 1 is able to connect?

You didn't say what operating system is on the laptop that won't connect. If you could provide the information below I will be glad to help you.

What kind of router do you have?
What Operating system is on the laptop that won't connect?
Is the wireless adapter on the laptop that won't connect on?
Are you using a Wireless connection assistant like HP Wireless Assistant?
Is your router configured to use DHCP?
